Crafted in Belgium from solid woods and E1 MDFs that are PEFC certified, and sourced from sustainably managed forests, this bed uses water-based paints, ensuring environmental responsibility. The fabric side wall of the bed can be opened up to form a canopy, held in place by strips that fasten the fabric and ribbons for attachment, and it can be quickly taken down to create a perfect, parent-free hideaway.
The bed includes a large trundle drawer that slides out effortlessly, ideal for storing belongings or fitting a mattress to make a guest bed, perfect for sleepovers.
This bed is part of a collection that embodies Montessori pedagogy principles of scalability and adaptability, using kits that allow for prolonged use of the product as your child's needs evolve. The production process minimises waste and standardises parts to enhance scalability, with the few scraps produced used to heat our workshops.
